In some ways, Iron Maiden represents the ideals of any aspiring musician. They do what they like, with no regard for trends but with total regard for their longtime fans. But in this blog I want to poke a little bit of a hole in the "myth" that is perpetuated with the Iron Maiden fanbase. Don't get me wrong, Iron Maiden has been and is still one of the inspirations for me being into metal in the first place. But often on message boards, in conversations, and so on, Iron Maiden is regarded as the Vanguard of Heavy Metal as far as integrity goes. Its been a hectic last couple of weeks, but you can all expect the interviews to get posted in faster succession from now on. Introduction: For nearly 30 years, Tom Angelripper and his main band, Sodom have been spreading their evil and brutal metal to all four corners of the globe. Interview: Eleandre

Recently I was turned on to the musical project, Eleandre, a project which is dark, mystical, and alluring in a way that transcends mere genre labels or preconceived notions. Mattowarrior's Metal Madness recently got to interview it's main man Ludovic, and here's what he had to say: So tell me about Eleandre- how was the project formed? Eleandre is the addition of both my daughters' names. Without them, none of this could have happened. So first of all I want to dedicate this whole musical project to them. Eleandre is a solo project that I have been leading since May 2020, with the main concept of doing everything myself (voice, guitar, bass, synths and effects, songwriting and also recording).
